What Is CPM Advertising

There are numerous ways for a website to sell advertising. One of the most widely used methods that many large websites use to profit on their traffic is a method called CPM advertising.  CPM stands for cost per one thousand impressions.  The Roman numeral for 1,000 is M. This leads to a business model where the price is set per thousand impressions; however, most businesses that are buying or selling these ads are not dealing per thousand impressions, but instead, there is the consistent purchase and sale of hundreds of thousands of impressions.


Unlike other forms of advertising such as CPC (Cost Per Click) and CPA (Cost Per Action), CPM does not require the visitor to do something other than visit the site. Due to this reason, CPM ads are the least expensive to buy.  When a business buys these ads, they’re hoping that someone comes along and clicks the ad because that makes the investment worthwhile.  This is why a website owner wants to make sure that the ad gets clicks, because, while views are what are for sale, if there are no conversions, the ad isn’t a good investment.

One of the kinds of advertising that CPM can be compared to is the type of ads that are sold in magazines.  A magazine’s aim is to try to get as many subscriptions as possible.  The magazine is guaranteeing to the advertiser that they have so many thousands of subscribers that will view the advertisement.  The same applies for websites that sell CPM advertising.  They are guaranteeing a certain number of views.

CPM advertising is an inexpensive way for a company to advertise on a website.  Unfortunately, they are typically suitable only for larger sites because they can provide bulk impressions.  The general hope is that when using CPM advertising, the ad will make an impression on the visitor’s eye and after a while, they will click on it.  Even after the appearance of more sophisticated types of advertising, CPM is still around because it is inexpensive and very profitable for publishers.  As only important thing is views, it becomes very practical and profitable for both parties.

Do you need an attorney? Probably not.

The will has been around in substantially the same form for about 500 years.  For the first 450 years, self-help was the rule and lawyer assistance the exception.  They were prepared by laypersonsand were perfectly effective.  What has changed?  Virtually nothing-- other than good campaigning by attorneys.  Over the past 50 years they have done a great job of convincing the public that it is dangerous to draft a will without their "expertise" like performing your own brain surgery (they charge about the same) --  (And I have first hand knowledge of this-- Click here for a bit about me).  The reality is that the basic laws (statute of wills) that govern wills has undergone little change.  And lawyers simply are not necessary-- unless....

Do you have a relatively large estate? Do you want to engage in some sophisticated tax planning?  If this is the case, it may be wise to consult with someone who has knowledge and experience in wills and estate planning.  Otherwise, save your money! 

Remember, the hardest part is figuring out what you own and who you want it to go to.  Provide us with that information and we do the rest and insure that your will conforms to the minor variations from state to state to insure that you not the state determines who gets your property.

     It's not about Luck, Ideas, or Intelligence.  It's about Action! WHAT YOU DO is infinitely more important that WHAT YOU KNOW.  Action is always the key.
     IT'S A FACT:  SUCCESSFUL people are those who are willing to actually do the things that UNSUCCESSFUL people are unwilling to do.


     Are good ideas important?  Of course.  Are opportunities important?  Of course.  But without action they are useless.  If you don't try... You Can't Succeed.

   In the end, what we have and achieve in life is simply a reflection of the service we gave.  Whether it is what you gave in the way of your service in sales...  The benefit that your products gave to the consumer, the lives you saved as a physician.  The lives you enriched and shaped as a teacher. The more we give and the better we give, the more we have.

   When the focus of your activities are on the money you will earn, it diminishes the service you provide and the outcomes you achieve.  On the other hand, if you focus on providing the best options and services to your clients... when your heart is in doing the best job possible for your customer, they know it.  And soon, the world knows it and they will be beating a path to your door and money worries become a thing of the past.  It all starts with focusing on service.

  You don't earn by taking, by high pressure sales, or by anything other than giving.  Concentrate on the services that you are offering to the public.  You, literally have the ability to change people's lives.
